Villa Vuoto is my home, a manifesto on creativity, to question the conventional ways of building, while expanding the minds and sensitivities of our two sons raised in such a house.

A softening, rounding out the square corners, not arbitrarily, but with circles, of stars and planets, raindrops and bubbles, from where the universe comes, still familiar even if forgotten, a comforting sense, eased, yet grounded in a tradition as long as time.

Tapered walls, leaning inward to embrace or outward to release, taken from the pulse of life, breathing in and out, just as all things liquid flow, seeking a balance, complementaries, not so much to find equilibrium, as to propel each other forward, continuation, eternal, of light and shadow, wind and water, stone and sand.
